> Automated website health auditing platform for executives and technical teams. WebsiteCoach runs 15 parallel checks across performance, security, DNS, SEO, and content quality — delivering a full executive briefing in around 60 seconds.

## What we do

WebsiteCoach is a SaaS platform that audits any public website and returns a comprehensive digital health scorecard. Reports are designed for executives who need prioritised, delegatable action items — not raw data dumps. Every finding is converted into a plain-English briefing with a priority level, effort estimate, confidence level, and a specific team to delegate it to.

## Checks we run

- **Performance & Core Web Vitals** — Google Lighthouse lab scores + Chrome UX Report (CrUX) real-user field data. Revenue impact model estimates annual conversion rate loss from slow LCP/TBT/CLS.
- **Security Headers** — 9 HTTP response headers checked for presence and quality (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy, CORP, COOP, COEP, X-Content-Type-Options). CSP and HSTS are quality-scored — not just presence-checked.
- **DNS & Email Deliverability** — SPF, DMARC (with rua= reporting address), DKIM (17 common selectors probed), MX, CAA, BIMI, TLS-RPT, MTA-STS. Composite 0–100 score.
- **SEO & Crawlability** — Google Lighthouse SEO/accessibility scores + on-page crawlability audit: page title (length/presence), meta description, canonical tag, noindex detection, hreflang, robots.txt (crawl rules, sitemap directives), XML sitemap (URL count, freshness), llms.txt or AGENTS.md.
- **Domain Intelligence** — Expiry date, registrar lock status, domain age, estimated domain value, organic keyword count, referring domains, backlinks via DataForSEO WHOIS (7-day cache).
- **Uptime & Response Time** — Live TTFB check via Cloudflare Workers, redirect chain traced hop-by-hop, long redirect chain detection.
- **Broken Links** — Up to 40 internal homepage links HEAD-checked for 404/500 errors.
- **Schema Markup** — JSON-LD, Microdata, RDFa parsing; validates required properties per schema type; flags missing Organization, WebSite, BreadcrumbList schemas.
- **HTML Validation** — Internal DOMParser validator; error and warning counts; duplicate IDs, invalid nesting.
- **Page Quality** — Open Graph tags, Twitter/X cards, mixed content, image alt text (ADA/WCAG), image format (WebP/AVIF), third-party tracker detection (GDPR/CCPA risk), Flesch Reading Ease score, social links, trust signals (phone, email, contact, privacy, terms, about, address, copyright).
- **Carbon Footprint** — CO₂ grams per page view from page weight; compared against all tested sites.
- **Abuse & IP Reputation** — AbuseIPDB v2 confidence score, report count, Tor node detection.
- **Google Safe Browsing** — Real-time threat lookup (malware, phishing, deceptive pages).
- **VirusTotal Domain Reputation** — 90+ antivirus engine results, community reputation score.
- **W3C HTML Validation** — Internal DOMParser-based validation without sending code to external services.

## Composite health score

Weighted across 12 dimensions: Performance (20%), SEO (15%), Accessibility (10%), Best Practices (10%), Security (8%), DNS (7%), Schema (7%), HTML (3%), Uptime (5%), Broken Links (5%), Page Quality (5%), Real Users/CrUX (5%).

## Action item system

Every finding generates a structured action item with: priority (critical/high/medium/low), effort estimate (15 min / 30 min / 1 hour / 1 day / 1 week / legal review), confidence level (measured / estimated / inferred), assignee role (IT/DevOps, Frontend Dev, SEO Specialist, Security Engineer, Marketing, Content Team, Executive/Legal). Exportable to Jira CSV, Trello JSON, or generic CSV.

## Technical stack

Built on Cloudflare Pages with Workers functions, D1 (SQLite) database for caching, and Puppeteer for JavaScript-rendered HTML analysis. Frontend: React + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS + Vite. Reports cached for 7 days per domain.
